These drawings were created during life drawing sessions focused on the traditional Japanese art of rope tying, known as Shibari. I approached each session with the same sensitivity and intent as any figurative study—observing the tension, grace, and vulnerability in the poses. My aim is to explore the human form, connection, and expression through line and gesture.
